Do you think he did to many features in 2007-2008. So many great verses he could have just kept to himself and used in future projects. Im just saying over 100 features in one year is unecessary some good shit he could have put on his own albums.

Imagine if he kept them for albums, then he would have so much unreleased music, because you can't put an album out every week.

Also, all those features helped in a big way for Tha Carter III selling like it did and also Wayne growing his fanbase.

You could argue that he shouldn't of done features for people like Young Chris or Mike Jones etc, but that's a whole different story.

Wayne just loves making music. Saving for albums means that he wouldn't have been able to release as much music as he did cause let's say he dropped an album in 08 and did 20 tracks with 5 bonus tracks, that's not even half the amount of features he's had during that time.

Like his mixtapes for example, you think most rappers would release this many, not to mention have a fucking double-disc'd mixtape... that's crazy. 50 Cent may have started it, but Wayne definitely made other rappers wanna do it too. But, it's the music industry. If Wayne made all underground music he wouldn't be where he is. You have to have commercial appeal to succeed in todays world. The whole reason 08 was Wayne's year was due to the commercial appeal, it spread through the whole world he did it so well. Wayne was the perfect artist in his prime. Due to the very reason you despise.
