Dedication 2 Overrated

I'll probably get a shitload of hate for this but I honestly dont see why people love dedication 2 so much. Its good to me but not that special. I dont get why people like this wayne but not the wayne we've been getting recently. I hate when he raps with the double voice and his lines are alot cornier or normal. Dont get me wrong this has songs I like on it like cannon, hustlin, and get em but to me its not that good. Theres no way this is better than D4 or No Ceilings IMO. Understand that this isnt the wayne that i started getting into, I loved everything he made (besides half of rebirth) since dd3. I personally prefer d1 over d2.

Nah, that's your opinion and so this got to be true. You don't need to like D2 over D4...you can love 2012 weezy more than 2006 weezy..nothing wrong with that.

But in the end of the day, Dedication 2 is a classic mixtape... D2 is one of Wayne's greatest projects

I love D2. Probably my second favorite mixtape after DD3.

But NC and D4 over it? It's different kind of rap, so I can understand why one would say that. Those two are a lot less serious than D2. A lot more fun.

Yes, I agree that D1 is better than D2. IMO it is his GOAT mixtape. But D2 is nowhere near overatted. D2 has many lines that fly over your head, try to listen deeper, especially in SportsCenter and Georgia...Bush.

Wayne was better lyrically on D2, but I guess D4 is easier to listent to since it's more catchy. Alot has to do with the beat selection too.


Dedication 3 could have been his best Dedication mixtape, but it was just a introduction to Young Money.


I prefer D3 over all of them.

Don't get me wrong, I love D2. But the only songs from it that I can still replay to this day, is Cannon, Get Em, Hustlin, Ridin Wit The K & Weezy ambitions. That's really it, the rest I usually skip.

I made my own D3, I just reduced the amount of features, and took off the songs that didn't have Wayne in them.

I can listen to my D3 without skippin one track!

Go smoke some weed.... Sit down put some beats on and re-listen. D2 is one of the best projects ever.

But D2 is a project that Wayne fans, indifferent people, and Wayne haters can agree is classic tho. It's that good. In no way is it overrated. It's still behind Da Drought 3 and The Suffix to me tho, but I cannot say that NC or D4 is better at all
