C'mon man. Don't say that. Lupe is insanely talented. His new album is too dope.

"Lil Wayne is a force of positivity for some people, even if they just latch onto a verse he did for that Damien Marley and Nas album about the generation and the future of this nation, the future of this world, and how they rest at the feet of his son."

I don't know how much more evident it can get as far as taking shots goes...shortly before this quoted passage he talks about Elvis' "impact" on society and what he preached was memorable/worthwhile/meaningful...then proceeded to say "some people" and the ones that do simply latch onto a single verse to support his "talent" in regards to Wayne...

"He’s murderous, carefree, laissez-faire, erotic, overly sexual, but very rough around the edges. Obsessed with money…. There’s a certain truth, a certain artistic and philosophical truth to that. I don’t really… not that I don’t care…. but I expected that."

Exclaiming that Wayne's subject matter is uniform.....predictable....indirectly NOT talented because he expects such a thing from a rapper like him...a direct implication that his(lupe) rap is far superior... it's not subjective either because he hides the insult with "comforting" wording..

It's really just ignorance of Wayne's career/abilities....If I gave Lupe a copy of Dedication.....he'd be like "damn..."

Lupe didn't say anything about Waynes talent in this interview..you read way too much into the comments..he said Wayne is a force of positivity..he pointed out people latching on to a positive Wayne verse not to say people use that to justify that Wayne is talented, he's saying people latch on to it because it's positive and has an impact on them

Lu has praised Wayne many times for his talent Nd work ethic..even called him self a "conscious rapping Lil Wayne"..

Iunno I didn't care to watch it...just going by whatever OP posted quote wise...but it says "even" if they just latch...which completely diverts what you're trying to point out...that one word proves it partially deals with "positivity" but more or so his skillset/diversity... Any appraisal someone receives gets immediately negated when they say the exact opposite later on...which is displayed in this case....

If it says otherwise in the video..then oh well ignore this.. All this aside he's insulting Wayne...
