"Chris Brown seems to be “Transforming” us with his new single featuring none other than rapper Lil Wayne. The song is climbing the charts fast and fans seem to be giving Brown another chance at his music. Recently Brown released some pictures of the video shoot on his official website, and the fan response was received well.
However other than these pictures of the video shoot (which took place in LA a couple weeks ago) not much is known about the upcoming video.
Video model Tammy Torres who has worked with Wayne before as the leading lady in the Mrs. Officer music video tells us that the Joseph Kahn directed video is very “Futuristic“. Tammy told us that video shoot was very fast paced and hectic. Lil Wayne was accompanied by his Young Money artists Mack Maine and Tyga Tyga. Other celebrities we’re told that came out to show support were rapper Bow Wow and actor Tyrese. Tammy also told us about the wardrobe saying “We spent alot of time in hair, make-up, and wardrobe. We weren’t wearing regular outfits, so you can tell the time that went into putting it together. However Wayne, and Swizz didn’t have costumes like everyone else did.”
When it came to the actual filming Tammy said “Wayne filmed his scene late at night which only took a few hours, then Swizz and Chris went in and joined Wayne for last shots of his verse. As soon as he killed it on set he left back home to Miami with the rest of the Young Money family”. Tammy also mentioned that most of Wayne’s filming took place on a green screen which made it so the attention was focused on him. “The overall concept had a futuristic look to it” Tammy said, which included a lot of dancing which we all know Chris Brown is very well known for…and great at it might I add. So alot of costume changing was involved."
