Even if Rebirth was not widely accepted by the rap community, it still makes Wayne even more legendary because he stepped over the boundaries and did a pure rock album, something that no other hip-hop artist has ever done and it did decent numbers as well.
I think hip-hop fanatics forget to realize that it's a rock album, therefore it should not be hated on as if it was a rap album.
Youre missing out pleiboi the lyrics are CRAZY. Especially the end. Really makes yoou think about life.
I will listen to it all the now and try catch every line and i may like it after that but the first few lines are crazy "the loser, microphone abuser" damn

But if I fall I fall up And let the clouds hug me And if I fall down I bet I hit the ground runnin Bet you search and found nothing Looking for the finish line Stop short cuttin You fucking up your finish time Shit, but every twice in a while It feels like I'm runnin And life is the miles Yeah, but until the lights dimmin down I'll be runnin around
IF THERE'S NO FINISH LINE, THEN WHO'S THE REAL WINNER.

Yeah he has dope lyrics in the song i think what puts me off the song isnt lil wayne its the beat and that silly Shannel lol
Rebirth is one of Wayne's best albums tbh. He actually has good subject matter in lyrics on Rebirth.
Anyone think he can do that again for Rebirth 2 or do ya'll think it'll be like IANAHB2 but with all rock beats
If he made a Rebirth 2 tbh i think most of tha songs in it will sound like that track "Hello" that is in IANAHB2, i dont rebirth 2 would be better than the first one tbh

I know I could probably google this but I heard from some people that the only reason Rebirth actually had subject matter was because Wayne didnt write the songs. Is that true?
