How did ya'll discover Lil' Wayne/first song you heard?

Would like too know how ya'll found out about Lil' Wayne and what was the first song you heard his voice ? And what di ya'll think of him when ya'll first seen and heard him ?

Mines was about 2008/ Carter 3 era
And the man that works at the local takeaway always talked about this rapper called Lil' Wayne and so then the first time i heard his voice was the song "I Run This", then the first time i seen what weezy looks like was in the Video "My Life" lol took me a while to get into his music, at first i didnt like nothing about him
but then couple months later i was a No.1 fan

First i heard about lil wayne in 2007... song was Like Father Like Son from LFLS album, just loved beat and intro of song but did not paid attention to Weezy. But after single Lollipop release............. i fall in love with that song.. after hearing Lollipop i've started to search all his songs... first song I heard was lollipop in 2008, then I started going on limewire downloading his songs I thought had cool names such as got me a model, drop it like its hot and la la la

funny thing is I didn't hear carter 3 until 2009 and when I finally got to hear it I got mad as fuck cause my favorite song ''la la la'' was replaced with a shitty ass song called ''la la'' because of that I didn't like or apperciate la la until 2011 and still to this day I only listen to a wayne only version of that song

lollipop was banging everywhere back in 2008. so i was banging to. then in 2009 i discovered more about wayne , becoz back in 08 i couldnt care less who was this dread nigga. firstly i used to hate him. but then he grew on me! and now i'm a no. fan

First heard/saw Wayne on MTV (back when they actually played music videos) I saw the video for Go Dj. I liked the song but at that time I didnt have internet/didnt care bout music much so I never looked into wayne, plus I was like 10 maybe.

I heard Fireman, Run this, and Stuntin like my daddy and loved the songs but still didnt think much of Wayne.

Then One of my friends in middle school was always listening to Wayne and told me to listen to Lollipop and AMillie, which got me hooked on Wayne ever since.
