I know I'm gonna listen to 2pac, Lil Wayne, Eminem, DMX, Nas, Michael Jackson and some others in 20 years. Probably just songs that make me think of good memories.
Hustler Muzik is timeless for me, its the song that got me into hip hop and Wayne.
Syrup, percocet, and an eighth a day will leave you broke, depressed, and emotionally vacant
Despite how Lil' Wayne lives
It's not conducive to being creative
And I know cause he's my favorite
And I know cause I was off that same mix
Rationalize the shit that I'd try after I listen to "Dedication"
But he's an alien
I'd sip that shit
Pass out or play PlayStation.
You can't sit here and say Wayne doesn't have a good amount of timeless music.. Hustler Muzik, Dear Summer, etc. That's the thing about Wayne, he isn't just some narrow-tracked artist like Waka that hits with trap songs or some shit... he LITERALLY has a song to match nearly any mood/genre.. shit like No Worries for good moods, We Be Steady Mobbin when you upset lol, I Miss My Dawgs, etc..
Wayne got timeless music so therefore I'mma always find myself listening to him, even if it's like 30 years down the road when he ain't makin music no more.
Break a gram off and put it in my bitch nose She tells me how it feels, she's numb, she's froze Bitch! wake up and help me cook these o's I gotta get my cake up see all I eat is dough I'm a dangerous mothafucka watch your feets, your toes
No, that's not what I'm saying. I just don't know if I'll still be into rap as 40-year old lol. It's not just Wayne it's rap music itself.
And I don't see many kids being Wayne fans nor people close to 40. I do see MJ fans going from babies to oldies ya digg. But IF I would still listen to Wayne by then, there's a couple of tracks I would still play.
