I remember I was in New York a couple of days after this dropped, and the radio stations up there were even playing the songs. Songs like Mr.Carter and not just the radio singles. It was crazy. The love for Wayne was so high. A guy selling bootlegs on the streets tried to sell me a copy, but I already had bought a legit one lol

Damn i remember 5 years ago.
I just got Tha Carter III and a new iPod. 5 days later my grandpa was admitted to the hospital.
throughout the 3months and 1 week he was in the hospital (passed away sept 3), all i listened to was C3.

If i didn't have that wayne album I dont know how much harder it would have been those ~3 months.
