kendrick is not a crappy rapper. hes not even just a "rapper" hes more artistic about it. i just think a lot of it goes over peoples heads. hes not dumbed down enough for most people to understand it.

c3 was almost classic. i think it needs more time. and its hard to call it a classic because its not like it was really deep or anything. but it was just a realy really popular and well liked album for quiet a while.

c2 just goes hard like 90 percent of the time.

      Imo C3 > C2.
C3 had the most amazing songs I've ever heard, lyrics, beats, concept of the album was amazing. Masterpiece. Classic.
C2 is the last old school Wayne album imo, and therefore instant classic.
Hustler Musik and Fly In/Carter II/Fly Out are enough for it to be the classic..but Tha Mobb, Grown Man, The Best Rapper Alive..Just too many dope songs.

its not even that, Good Kid Maad City was pretty straight forward. But like I said, I really think it's his voice that people can't take seriously

Yeah, but who outside of true Lil Wayne fans is still bumping C2. I mean you could say the same thing for C3, but C3 is easily the more appealing album. I'm not saying c2 is bad, I like C2 and C3 equally. But man just imagine if all them leaks didn't happen. His career would have been different from then on

          Completely true.

C3 is definitely more appealing album, and I think that it is the reason why Wayne music is like this nowadays. He figured that songs like "Lollipop", which isn't a bad song though, are the ones that have replay value and that people will listen.. He just took it way to literal.

When he isn't. His "haters" underrate everything he's done in and for Hip Hop, or even music in general.

C2 was Lil Wayne at his most hungry and creative stage imo, he wasnt still getting the recognition he deserved so I think he really proved a point. C2 made people realise he was a contender and C3 put him at the top.
Syrup, percocet, and an eighth a day will leave you broke, depressed, and emotionally vacant
                          Despite how Lil' Wayne lives
It's not conducive to being creative
And I know cause he's my favorite
And I know cause I was off that same mix
Rationalize the shit that I'd try after I listen to "Dedication"
                          But he's an alien
                          I'd sip that shit
