I do remember hearing Way of Life in (2002/2003), but I wasn't totally into it. Go DJ really got my attention (2004), and then when Fireman (2005) came out, I was hooked. That song was on repeat for so long and I've been an obsessed Lil Wayne fan ever since

like '98/'99 was the first time i heard him. my male older cousin was into all tha cash money/hot boys stuff back then, and his sister had a crush on wayne. i was only 2 - 4 years old at that time so of course i wasn't a "fan"

Well ya, considering the average earliest memory (and not even a good clear memory, usually foggy) isn't until around 3½ years of age.
