Lil Wayne //LIVE// Freestyles?

I wz jz wondering if anybody else notices when Wayne gets put on the spot to freestyle live,he always says he dosent need a beat. i dont know i've seen him say that 2 or 3 times now. and i've never really figured out why. i mean most artist when they get put on the spot,they hardly never go aca. but wayne has always as i recall. But i would like to see him Freestyle live on the spot with a beat 1 day. wt yu guys think

Wayne's admitted that he's not really into freestyling, saying "Off the top? No. I THINK about Everything I say." He normally spits verses from his MANY recorded songs, or songs that arent out yet. The way wayne works, the way he composes lyrics... almost IS freestyling, it just takes a little longer because he wants it to hit even harder. So if he thought of a rediculous verse two hours ago, and someone asks him to freestyle...why not spit that hard-hitting verse?

He says that he "just tryin' to get yall to listen"...which is indeed true. He is a lyrical perfectionist. A lot of the times, he isn't trying to rock the crowd with a beat. But also, I think he doesn't ask for a beat to "freestyle" to because that beat may be too fast or too slow for the certain verse he wants to spit.

yea like on the drought is over pt 5 theres a track where he freestyles no beat called "im a dog ya" and its almost to the tee the same lyrics he did for Eat You Alive

I know this. What would you call his process then? Saying songs? I just used the phrase "write songs" because that is what he does.. he just doesn't write them DOWN. He writes them quickly in his head. Thus...it is a form of freestyling, but he thinks about the words he says longer than a second or two. I didn't mean that he etches them in a notepad. I mean that he composes lyrics. I should have worded it differently.

I undestand wut u sayin,it does make sense.But yea ya right,he da only one that does this.This makes him da best to ever do it.
