It was definitely a good album but if you want to emphasize the whole "gangster" approach to the albums then it's a dope album but I still prefer Light's Out:

Carter 3 was trash to Wayne standards...I don't even consider that an album of his....I'm going to go out on a limb and say 500 degreez was better than C3....His features 2008 were GOAT though...

Trash to Wayne's standards? It was a really good album. Only song which shouldn't be on there is Pussy Monster. It was better than No Ceilings. Definitely in the top 5 of Wayne's projects.

It was a half assed rehash to an already leaked album....so yes it was trash....I only consider C3 Sessions as Tha Carter 3... Albeit 3 Peat is one of my favorite songs....but this album was not the hungry Wayne we knew...

carter 3 had dr carter, phone home, let the beat build, dontgetit, 3 peat, Mr Carter, shoot me down & u aint got nothin..

it wasn't as good as the leaks but still strong and that's half of the album..

How can you even ignore the amount of depth the original C3 had?

Whether we listened to it back then (i started when C1 dropped) or after first hearing C3. Vast majority of us agree that C2 is his best album. C3 was also great for me as well, far from trash
