  • Old Stuff...

First of all, I didn't really know where to post this, so I'll just do it here... Got a bunch of Old Wayne stuff in my iTunes that really has no home, so was wondering if you guys could help me out and tell me if these songs are just unreleased(leaked) like a certain album sessions or songs that dropped on other people's mixtapes....

Lil' Wayne - Take Your Girl (feat. Drake)
Lil' Wayne - Thinkin' of You
Lil' Wayne - California Love (feat. Tyga)
Lil' Wayne - Show 'Em What Ya Got
Lil' Wayne - Staring At The World
Lil' Wayne - 30 Minutes To New Orleans
Lil' Wayne - Me and My Drank
Lil' Wayne - I'm Good (feat. Meek Mill)

    -Updated More Songs-
I know these are on unofficial mixtapes, but if you could tell me what album sessions they are under, or if they are just unreleased(leaked)

Lil' Wayne - No Quitter Go Getter
    Lil' Wayne - Told Y'all
Lil' Wayne - Blow My Mind
Lil' Wayne - Rap Cemetery (feat. Juelz Santana)

I guess but I honestly believe it was a D3 leftover.

Though out The Carter Doc all the remixes we heard on there ended up Dedication 3

except for 30 Mins To New Orleans & Demolition 1.

The fact that was recorded in 08 at the same time he was recording D3 & the autotune.

And Show Em What Ya Got? The one on Da Drought 3? Or you talking about You Da Shit?

So probably be best to add 30 Min, and the demolitions to a D3 playlist? You Da Shit! Kinda sounded like a C4 Sessions to me.

Staring At The World is Luv Sawngz Sessions

Tonight he announces, “... I’m not even a rapper. I’m past that.” Dramatic pause. “I’m an R&B singer now.” Then he plays us “Staring at the World,” in which he serenades a crush through a vocoder: E.T. meets T-Pain. “Call me T-Wayne,” he says. “I have an album coming out called Luv Sawngz. It’s me being more creative, more talented, more than hip-hop." - This was posted in below link on February 2008, it was also on BLENDER.com, but can't find the page, full article also below.

yeah, I remember reading about Blow My Mind, but to me it just doesn't sound like a Rebirth sessions, so I'll probably keep it under the C4 sessions, but thanks dude! would you by chance happen to have a list of all the C4 sessions?

she wasn't even on that track, was she?

                        ?
nah, but she was the reason ''A Milli'' happened so why would she not know what she was talking about??

So, I gather you and Lil Wayne work really well together. What is it that makes you guys click creatively?

I work for a rap/hip-hop label, but I’m more than that. There’s so much more to me than that and that’s why Wayne signed me. Because he’s more than that and I’ve kind of inspired him to play around with other music. I wrote “Prom Queen” for Rebirth.
Right, you’re both rock fans. Are there bands or albums that were touchstones for that project?
No. I mean, I can tell you who I like. I remember one time I came into the studio and I didn’t even know that he would go in that direction. He started playing me these records that he did with Cool & Dre. And Dre from Cool & Dre is a big music head. And I was like, “You like this kind of stuff?” And he was like “Yeah?” And we just started creating.
It was a song, his song, “Red Rum” and another one “I’ll Die.” And I was like, “Do you want to hear what I’ve been doing?” Because it was already on the same page.
+ fix my hat, Im Not Human, Yeah, Ready For The World and others were Rebirth songs where he rapped..
