He said in a interview he listens to hisself. so he can see how to rap better then that & that he really dosent listen to rap.

you can't believe everything lil waynes says in a interview because i seen some videos of him rapping other people songs. they asked him about the blueprint 3 & he said he liked it that's why he work so hard, he have to get ahead of Jay-Z. also he said he put out a mixtape (no ceilings) because he heard to many good songs on the radio that he liked, he didn't even need to put in a cd.

so far i know he listen to Kanye West ("in the morning" - riding to that Kanye). 2puc & Biggie ("LA LA"- i Study B.I. I Bang Tupac). UGK (heard him rapping "let me see it" over ustream"). Jay-z (his favorite rapper).
