I love that beat/hook and have been waiting for a rapper to use the beat... and with it being the last song on "No Ceilings" I expected a lot but honestly I thought Nicki had a better verse...? Opinions?

You don't always have to show up and show out. She's his artist and right now it's her time to get her foundation stable. Why not chill out and let her solidify her rep?

Shown up? really? not a valid question, imho. it wasn't a battle. Wayne was in the support role, prop'in her and making sure she was on the tape because he wants her to be the queen so he gets more money. She was supposed to be the highlight, by design.

On another note... If you think that was murderin it, go back and listen to her mixtapes. This wasn't even her best shit, by far. This 'bad bitch, no muzzle' spits straight fiiiiyyaaaaa.

She went hard as fuck , and people are like.. nahh wayne was just playing, and he was just letting her shine. It could be true, but some people are saying that in a way that makes it sound like its impossible for her (A female rapper) to show him up on one song lol.

:sigh: why does he have to let her win though? She cant be better b/c she's better? And he's not better than her on whatever number of songs, just like she's not better than him on some number of songs, if they arent on the same song, you cant compare them.

But I dont like this song too much. Maybe I have to relisten, but on first listen it wasnt my favorite thing. Or maybe its b/c im so used to the original.

Nicki Minaj does really murder it, and best female rapper I have heard in a long time. Reminds me of Storm in some ways.
Wayne's verse is still good though. He works with some of the best people in the industry from a diverse genre and always holds his own.

I thought Keyshia Cole on "I love you" also maybe just outdid Wayne's role in the track, but they sound great together.
