I fear that it'll only sell like 500,000 first week and people wont accept the music for what it is. Because its Wayne they'll automatically hate and not give it a chance

      I know he doesn't, but it's a possibility.

        That's your worst fear? lol

Erm probably as someone else said, that he won't take it as seriously as all his hardcore fans will.

Yes, cuz it would ruin the songs. Why re-record from your prime? lol

And there is small hope because his probations ends next month. But if things have gone the way they have since he's gotten outta jail it will just be a project with a couple gems.

That WAS his prime lol. No arguing. 2008-2009 was when Wayne was most dominant.

06-08 is lyrical prime, 08-09 is fame prime.

Why'd you leave 05 out? Hell, I'd personally go as far back as 04.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

The consistency wasn't there. I just feel 06 is when he figured out his true talents.

                          This

And I just hope he doesn't have a stale flow. I enjoyed C4 and it's a cool album, but you could definitely notice that he doesn't just ride the beat on C4 as swiftly as he did on C3. So I'm worried there'll be stale flows, some poor beat selections, poor features like Paris Hilton, and him not remembering/realizing just how important this album is to making people take him seriously again.

This last part isn't important but I'm hoping for some cool samples. Stuff like Playing With Fire from C3 and stuff like It's Good from C4 samples were cool. Hoping for Kanye production as well as Mannie somewhere and Scott Storch since I noticed he made one of the beats on Meek's DC3 so he might be returning.
