I'm not sure but I don't think the Carter 5 is gonna drop anytime soon. Lil Wayne said he plans on retiring at 35, and he still needs to drop his Devol Album, and LFLS2, We Are Young Money 2 is coming out which will happen when the rest of the YM members get off tour, and Tyga and Chris make their second collaboration album. It's gonna take a long time and Lil Wayne never drops his albums on time. We might get another Detox lol.

Besides knowing Wayne, he'll do a Jay-Z and only leave for a while then come back.


What I'm hoping will happen is that Wayne will try to go out with a bang again. Go on a mixtape rage the same way he did after Carter 2 which led to the Carter 3. This time that mixtape Weezy will take hip-hop back, feature all over the place and it will lead up to the Carter 5. (I've heard someone on this website say the Carter 4 was an album, but the Carter 3 was an event. That's what Wayne needs an event...with his A-game not lazy dedication 3-type rapping) After he retires, I will suffer til BG comes out of prison and they finally have a Hotboys reunion.
