Let's reminisce a bit about when wayne finally went in to serve his sentence. Just thoughts. How big of a deal was it when he went to jail? I mean he was a bit past his prime but still he was a huge figure in hip hop. What was it like around this site at the time (for those of you who were here)? What were some of the news worthy things you all remember hearing during his incarceration?

I remember coming on here and seeing three times weezys jail date had been postponed because of fire etc.

I was originally interested to hear from members who were around (still am) but anyone post anything that you remember while he was behind bars

i was a member on here at the time
i remember there being news everyday to do with weezy's court dates
or his jail sentence being pushed back
and then the legendary performance with jeezy and nicki when he was originally supposed to go to jail
also i remember them road to rikers island videos too

he was on his last ustream session before leaving for jail (at night or early in the morning cause it was dark outside), he left, twist started crying, then his sentence got postponed

It wasn't that bad because Wayne was a smart nigga and dropped an album and still had features coming out. Wayne fans are lucky.
