Still was one of the greatest experiences of my life so far..I was only 16 maybe 17...drunk and everyone was so hyped considering the crowd was pretty small. This was about a week before No Ceilings dropped. Tbh I reckon seeing Weezy now would ruin it..I dunno.

          The ticket cost me £25

I've seen Lil Wayne live on two occasions. The first time was August 13th, 2013 in Chicago, and it was incredible. You spend all your time listening to an artist and getting to know them through their music, documentaries, and interviews, and then you see that person in the flesh and it becomes real. You stand in the crowd of thousands awestruck fans as the legend himself stand in front of you performing classic after classic, taking breaks to tell you how much he loves and appreciates you. You can count on the familiar disclaimer; "I believe in God" and "I aint shit without you.". The bridge would lower from the rafters and Wayne runs out into the crowd touching hands as he performs Mr. Carter. Out of nowhere he becomes serious, asking his audience to keep their voices down so he could perform Nightmares of the Bottom. Of course his request was met with complete and utter silence. Unfortunately like all good nights it came to an end, Wayne put on his robe, thanked everyone, threw 5 or 6 wifebeaters into the crowd and disappeared into the dark doorway behind him. As everyone began to disperse you heard the raspy voice on the mic one more time saying "Yall aint even gon' ask for an encore?" and at that time a simultaneous plea for an encore is shouted. Then you hear Wayne say "OK, well if you really want an encore i need to hear you say 'One more time nigggggaaaaa'" and he proceeded to tease the audience by making them sing the words "One more time nigga." But he bounced back on stage and the song everyone was expecting the entire show finally came on, 6 foot 7 foot.

The next time i saw Wayne was this past July in Virginia Beach and I've written too much so I'll just say he didn't disappoint. If you ever get the chance to go, just do it, its an amazing experience and you wont regret the outrageous ticket prices until the morning after.
