          Nah, Tupac was the face of '90s music, not just hip-hop (Kurt Cobain along with him). Wayne has been around, what, nearly 10 years longer than Pac and he still hasn't had the impact.

          Whether you think Wayne is a better rapper or not is a different discussion. I think there are plenty of rappers better ​than Tupac.

              Perhaps, but he still had a tremendous impact on the culture

              And that's what separates him from almost every rapper (with the possible exceptions of Eminem and, at one point, Public Enemy): he was a cultural and musical icon.
