Same with all that footage they recorded last year and in 2012, it will probably be released once he retires.
What I always thought! The footage is a good point you brought up, he got so many unreleased videos too, this will probably all come out after he retired, for example the videos from before 2010 are too irrelevant to release now, but after he retires they'll probably be buzzing much more than they would now!

Of course he wanted to get material ready for the time he's gone & the comeback and if you remember YMCMB bridged his jailtime well with pre-recorded features etc, but even before this Weezy seemed to be strategic about what you will hear and when.

I used to come across more clues like that when listening to his old stuff, with the biggest gap being something like "and imma come back like rebirth" in some Dedication 1 snipped and also thought there was a lot to it when I heard he's "1 album away from being famous" in the C2 era. I know these are a bit different from the above, but I simply don't remember the other more clear instances.

Do you have more examples of his planning, pre-recording, announcing etc?

I think that's it's very interesting how he builds the body of his work.
He has always worked ahead and farther and more then anyone
And even if the sky come fallin BITCH imma still be high

Exactly, no one can say Wayne's work ethic isn't like Pac's, they're so SIMILAR in that aspect, I've watched most of Wayne's and Pac's interviews, when it comes to work ethic they're very similar.

Mack even called Wayne Tunechi on one of 'em Mixtape-Skits and after that corrected himself
by calling him Weezy and saying y'all dont even know about that yet

(think it was dedication 1/2 )
