i would deff have to say carter 2 just cuz of his style and the lyrical content that surrounded every single track. you could say c3 but that had songs like lollipop and got money to throw it off the "mature" note. rebirth could have been mature but songs like get a life and the price is wrong kill it too.

the fact that C2 was not produced by mannie fresh and had different productions from other producers, had a dope radio song with Robin Thicke, and that his whole flow, delivery, lyrical technique, (and voice) totally changed proves to me thats when he matured....or around that era (C2, D2, DD3, LFLS)..
