On “Thug Cry,” J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League samples Souls of Mischief’s standout track “93 ‘Till Infinity,” complete with a competitive-sounding verse from Lil Wayne.

    Imagine Wayne on this.

I can't think of many boom-bap beats like this that Wayne has gone over, but one that definitely comes to mind is the Renaissance Rap Remix and Can't Touch Me Remix.

I think it's impossible for any rapper not to snap on a boom-bap beat, especially Wayne.

REVOLT | First Listen: 10 Takeaways From Rick Ross' 'Mastermind'

                    Lil Wayne Can Still Rap

On album closer "Thug Cry," Wayne delivers one of his most heartfelt and actually well-written verses in years, spanning and harkening back to Tha Carter III's "Tie My Hands." It's good to hear Wayne be Wayne again.
