Like I said a million times before, this is "Tha Carter V". Who would release one of the biggest albums of the year digitally? Labels are all about making the most money. What makes more sense, releasing C5 digitally with no promo or releasing it digitally and physically with no promo? Think about people who don't have iTunes or don't have access to a personal computer, you're losing sales right there. You'll make more money releasing it physically and digitally even if you have little to no promo. Beyonce's situation was different, she had her kid and was barely seen in the public for a while so no one was expecting a album to be released on iTunes so that was their selling point. There's levels to this shit
C5 is being held hostage by Universal

How can you guys say there's no promotion when he released 4 singles, made the drake vs Lil Wayne tour, he's been featured in how many songs this year and killing it on each feature, he showed some snippets of new tracks and has been talking about tha carter V non stop. Yeah no promotion. Just cause you ain't see niggas head on a billboard or a commercial don't mean he ain't have promotion.
