Everythingg is real dope. However, Im still not confident in the album. DOpe features =/= dope album
Off Day was just a fun record. Something to just hang out too. I still bump it. He wasn't trying to be lyrical or drop flames, he was just having fun.

Krazy isn't great, but isnt bad. Can't deny those verses. Beat could have been better and the hook, but lyrically it was great. Only thing we can do is hope, and wait.

            Lol young thug? No..

Kanye exec produced theophilius London album and without his influence that would've been a 3/10. Let's face it, Wayne and kanye would be pretty awesome but I doubt Wayne has the work ethic or the focus anymore.. But Wayne seems very compliant when it comes to his music, so if he had someone like kanye pulling the strings.. Could work

Verses were dope but the beat ruined Krazy for me..

C3 went through hell before it became his breakthrough album sales wise. It leaked like 3 times? Had a failed single (Only reason) for you young fucks who cant recall.

So just chill.. wayne's an organic artist. Let him find that groove. He aint lost it .. and he aint fading away. U cant fade away when the new generation are your sons.. Just ask Hov.
My nigga..I'm glad you said this lmao

Maybe if you have an executive producer, like kanye on theophilius london album, or jay z on one of his rocafella artists albums, but even then you'd have the final word. It seems like Wayne just literally goes in the studio, gets given a beat, raps over it, then goes back to skating. Even in interviews if you notice, it's never about specific songs it's always about his recording process
Maybe you need to stop blaming Tez & start blaming Wayne..he knows what he's doing man. He picks his own beats forsure..& if you remember that one ww he was in the studio all night into the morning then went to first take.
Again, just chill man this nigga know what he's doing, let hit get em.

Wayne falls in to the category of 'lets get whoever is hot' to produce. a lot of artists are like that. Rick Ross, Big Sean, in fact most. 2 Chainz etc. But the best records are when there is a theme.. Jay drives himself crazy looking for the right beat. Kanye is a control freak. Eminem does a lot of his own production.

that said, the production on the first IANAHB was dope. Gonorrhea, Single, Bill Gates.. Wayne can snap on ANY beat, but he needs focus, and just from watching documentarys and listening to his records, he doesnt provide that focus himself, he needs others to give it to him (Tez, Baby). If Tez and Baby are fucking up, things are gonna be fucked up (IANAHB2)
How you Wayne fan & say he's not a control freak/perfectionist? That's the whole reason c5 got pushed back..quality control & the reason we waited 3 years for 30 min to n.o, afrika bambattaa, Wayne's world etc

Maybe so. Maybe so.. I'd like to believe the kid is just in the studio 24/7 perfecting but he keeps getting photographed skating everywhere..

Maybe we won't ever know whats going on in YM? We will just get the album when we get it.

                      • all those leaks were responsible for the popularity of the album. everytime it leaked it was a whole new album. people wanted to hear what his legit album would be after hearing all those great scrapped songs. at least thats what i believe and thought. i remeber every month there was a new mixtape on datpiff with all new songs from wayne, unofficial of course but still. by the time the album legit came out i never heard any of the songs prior except for nuthin and then it was a new version. 07-08 was a good time to be a wayniac.
