Imo, when the album is pushed back, the hype decrease.

if you push an album back like 1 or 2 times the hype would increase cause more people would know about the album. if there are more than 2 push backs it will get lower i think so i'm pretty sure he knows how many times he will push an album.
and he probably didn't know about the albums but they hadn't an influence on the push back of c5.

If enough people don't know about the album by the first release date, then you're not doing your job right

its not like only few people know about it, its just that more people will know about an album after push backs. i'm pretty sure without the push backs c3 and c4 would only have sold like 900k first week.

You couldn't be more wrong. Carter 3 was pushed back more than any othe Wayne album and that's why it was the most anticipated album of 2007 & 2008. Just think if Wayne stopped doing features and kept pushing back C5 for a couple years there would be so much hype for it.
