Wayne said he can drop it anytime they just playing with fans now
Always pushing things back and never telling us anything
You got it wrong.
Wayne can drop it anytime he wants, yes, but for free...leak it out for the world to stream and download for free like a mixtape.
But Wayne wouldn't do that, because he obviously wants to make alot of money out of it since its a carter album. This is what he means by giving it to the fans the 'right way'.
Birdman knows this and its the only reason why he still has C5 in his vault. Wayne wants to make money out of albums, but can't because he's locked under Birds contract.
Opinions: When C5 finally drops, how will the world react? Will Wayne be on award shows, nominations? Will the world acknowledge the existence, or will only Wayne fans truly care because it's been too long. I know FWA was a Tidal release, and nothing compared to a Carter album in terms of the brand, but it was Carter worthy material, and is hugely underrated.
Just curious as to how his legacy will stand after this finally see's the light of day. I've never seen an artist of his status reach such low depths, and his current situation is truly sad, but something has to give...

depends on how the team tries to build up it's finally here, imo if he gets out of the contract and they set a release date, they should go all out on promo.....going to late night shows and trying to get his face in the media anyway he can, release 1 song a week before, make it a fucking great one, and i think the numbers will be there sales wise

would be interesting.
i think if they dropped it rn nobody would buy it cause people dont expect it to drop anytime soon, maybe after like a few weeks people might hear of it
if they start promoting it again it wouldnt change much i think, he been saying that its coming soon for like 3 years now, why would people believe him now
it needs more singles to get the hype up again and thats nearly impossible for him nowadays, he might drop the kendrick song to get into the charts but even that might be few to get the hype up again
but maybe im just wrong, and we will see what happens when (if) it comes out

That's the thing, Wayne doesn't chart well. Even if they released a single, it wouldn't chart unless it had a huge name. Probably needs to be the song with JT if they want any success. The sad truth is that Wayne just doesn't chart anymore. Maybe that's because he hasn't released a worthy enough track... But who know's.

song doesn't necessarily have to chart, just announce a release date, and tracklist, and go out and promote it on tv shows, release a big song the week before, the JT one is probably best bet or kendrick to hype it up, and album comes out a week later, people will check it out if the 1 song they drop the week before is hot

No, he cant chart, but thats because he cant sell his music. The songs are not for sale or streaming. Thats why the songs dont chart. Songs needs to be on iTunes, Spotify etc to chart.
