          Time will tell
The fact that its so diverse + the personal shit he talked about makes it timeless tho imo

I don't think it will. All songs are down in charts. Video is not doing well. But it is good that Wayne is back atleat. If they will do good on next project than it will be fine.

I think it has to do with the era of music we are in. Majority of projects are forgotten a week later. I think for Lil Wayne fans it means a tremendous amount, but for normal listeners they heard it and it didn’t sound like the new generation “migos” flow type music so it came and went. Real hip hop heads loving it tho which is hilarious to me cuz they ones who use to hate Lil Wayne lol

Also uproar video hit a million views released yesterday but Travis Scott and Drake dropped a video today so that’s getting a lot of attention. Imo uproar is a very specific sound NY aswell, again the new generation don’t fw it as much. The question is what song on C5 has a universal sound for everybody? I feel like that was the biggest thing missing from C5, no John, How to Love, A Millie, Lollipop type singles.

I hate to say it, but even as a diehard Wayne fan and one of the most hyped members awaiting C5 all these years, this album was a moment. Like it's not a bad album by any means and it has phenomenal tracks, but something about it just didn't stick. Idk if it was the length, some of the filler, lack of true "bangers," or just the album not being able to match the hype.

I will say this though, this C5 is miles better than what we we're gonna get in 2014. Yeah sure I miss Life of Mr. Carter, OG STSOR, Gotti, D'usse, and all the other tracks we never heard, but at the same time thank god we didn't have to settle for Start A Fire, Mute, Velvet, Just Chill, and probably a few other tracks to close off the legendary Carter series. Not to mention the absurd length it was gonna be with half of the tracks being lackluster. We truly dodged a bullet in that regard I feel.

Plus the delay gave us so many amazing projects (FWA, D6/R, SFTW2, etc.) we probably would've never heard otherwise that pushed Wayne into his 3rd prime now where he's spitting at levels that could rival his 2007 run. Wayne is in Ultra Instinct form right now and I'm happy he carried that sound from D6/R over to C5 as well and didn't settle for the mediocrity of the original C5's sound. At the end of the day, I'm thankful we got the C5 we did even if it only has felt like a "moment" so-to-speak. Eventually the original 2CD C5 will leak and we'll just be reaffirmed that the C5 we got was perfect while also being able to take a select few dope songs from the OG C5 and add them to our C5 Sessions folders.

I feel like it was more then just a moment. I mean. For me at least. Imma b doing what I did with C3 to C5 in 10 years. Remembering where I was. what I was doing when I heard certain songs. and alotta people I didn't expect. they love this album as much as I do. its dope. its gonna live on.
They can do all they can do but they cant break unbreakable. They scared to face the truth cause they hate the view.

Yes you are right there should be some bangers like lollipop or right above it, because they stuck in head and they help to boost your album sales and all and make you popular. Songs On C5 are good but all that thing is missing which can appeal to masses.
