i feel they put it out with high urgency because it was already way overdue so they just kinda winged it but all things considered it did really well

especially cause people was saying wayne has been washed up and stuff

true, but Wayne’s team should’ve had some type of plan after all that time. Like even if they just had a couple of already done videos to go with it for songs like Mona Lisa which with a video upon release would’ve gone #1, or simple things that don’t take much over the top planning. I just feel like for such a big anticipated release they did the bare minimum. Mack as a manager did not demonstrate he deserved the position.

Culture II did 199k first week and 88k second week 56% drop
scorpion did 732k first week and 335 second week a 55% drop
tha Carter V did 480k then 135k which is 72% drop

Idk what’s so hard to understand that an album with no singles prior is not going to jump in sales like other albums. Those single sales get added to total album sales after the first week. Not to mention if it’s a hot single at the time there will already be a lot of active streams towards the album even if it’s just those songs.
