real talk, they are scrambling confusing us trying to "catfish" us or throw us a curveball...The digital "First Edition" of Carter V will drop on 5/5/14, I guarantee it....and then a Deluxe edition will drop digitally and in stores once they press CDs...Too much shit from a marketing standpoint (I work as a consultant for a LARGE firm) and these marketing ploys and limited info makes me believe 5/5/14 is still going to happen...not a single...not a pressed cd, but a digital "ROUGH EDITION" download.....

As much as we all want that, I just don't believe we are getting the whole thing on May 5th.

I'm telling you, I work in a industry that is literally the same as the music industry (it's a publishing industry) and there are so many parallels and using the context clues from being in this business 3+ years, I really wouldn't be surprised if it dropped 5/5/14 online only. For real. I'm about to get in touch with my dude's connection from when he met Weezy at Macy's in Louisville (he had VIP tickets, ate dinner with Tez and YMCMB, Mike from Trukfit, and hung with Weezy for a while) and talked about the whole Rebirth fiasco...He has Tez's and Mike, the CFO of Trukfit's contact info. lemme see if we can find anything out.

We know Wayne been putting in plenty of studio time and it would bring super online hype for the album and prevent early leaks which Wayne had for C3. Question: was it drake who suggested the date for c5 at a show with wayne? What was the source for that date?
