we get a beat from 40, that actually has some backbone and grit, and get whats probably the most versatile performance of the year, completely effortless, and damn near seamless..
wayne covers regional rap barriers, and no one even picks it up. think the fast paced tight rhymes with shout outs to queens and capone and noriega are accidental, while the second verse.. is some straight southern drawl shit, thts stillll being packed with tight rhymes..
nevermind.. tht they easily couldve reached for corny pop record.. but they went mean, on some i mean business shit, pretty much setting the tone.. for the record.. like ok, wayne is taking this serious...
idk.. believe me.. is to the point.. where if you dont like it. i thmink u might just have character flaws, its like why i dont trust people who liked wale.

And for your 'corny pop shit' listen to side bitch snippet ofc there will be mainstream tracks on CV
c3 is hard to talk about because it went thmrough so many amalgamations before we get our hands on it.. so many leaks.. who knows what that album was really supposed to look like, but lollipop was on there but ive read wasnt even sure of that record..
and for what its worth.. id think about arguing that right now hes delivering better more technical verses than he did on c3.. he was still a little slow.. on c3... and its not like every rap on there was impeccable..
second verse on believe me is hard as fuck tho,
you get some of that classic subtle narration of his rise in the first two lines...
you get that ridiculous nina line.. the tape a couple kilos to the bitch stomach line is dumb hard, cos hes rapping "slow" but hes still packing in syllables tight as shit, breath control is ridiculous, dudes rapping from the very bottom of his diaphragm, and practically hissing his verse out, while still being.... loud.. remarkable control over his voice really.. and then he just ends the shit like a boss.
lool its reminds me of some like southern og rapping on his porch and telling you, not only tht you shouldnt step on his lawn buy why you shouldnt. lool its an awesome verse.
