This guy figured the whole thing out. Not trying to be sarcastic, i agree 100%. it all comes down to numbers. Billboard just said that Swift and Weezy are the only people capable of going platinum in a week. A same week release (meaning a same day release most likely) would sacrifice a lot of sales, even though they really don't have any mutual fans.

I agree, but I reckon Taylor will only do 400k tops first week. I still think nicki is just as capable as Taylor to do huge numbers first week, so pushing back Wayne also means pushing back nicki
