C5 gonna sell like C2...first week decent but as ppl listen and realize its lyrical content it will hit a milli.
Maybe not first week but I'd say like a month after it drops it goes plat
Btw rebirth went gold the first week..there's no way a carter album will undersell that

Its cause he went with a love song of sorts..had he dropped that Kendrick ft,life of Mr.carter, or that Mannie fresh song itd be crazy

it's funny how people mention and blame lil wayne for hip hop being "mainstream" and bad with the sole purpose of apealing to people's ears (aka radio friendly songs with no particular meaning just catchy beats etc.) ...goddamn it.
lol for me when someone says wayne isnt hiphop.. their credibility drops bout a thousand percent. i think its one of the most ludicrous statements you can make in regards to this music. lol someone the other day was trying to me how ludacris was actually an mc.. and wayne was an entertainer.
I don't want anymore songs with Tina put them songs on her mixtape remove those songs from the album do songs with A$AP and Andre 3000 artist people who people actually wanna hear the reason C3 was considered a classic was because there wasn't a song you'd want to skip unless you over played it .. Wayne doesn't need a female to sing on a song for it to be successful that's why his Mixtapes and Albuns are great
^This. And this is a chick who I crushed over so hard when I was in my teens. I'm talkin' Love Don't Cost A Thing" days. She was fine as hell. She didn't even need a music career. Her hook-work on some of those Ja Rule songs was a'ight. And so was A.M. to P.M. But her fire was extinguished almost abruptly proceeding her fifteen minutes of fame. I still have a special place for her in my heart, even though she carries herself a little too casually nowadays. You know the saying. She became "liberated" or whatever you wanna call it. Bottom line: This won't revive her career at all. It actually will make it even harder for her to boomerang her relevancy. This ain't conducive to getting the job done. And it's certainly not worth jeopardizing the promotional vehicle that is this hype sensation for C5 (Which has died down so roughly, it's a goddamn shame.) I pray he sees the light before it's too late. Wayne should really just rest up somewhere and clear his mind. I'm tired of this "No Break" Wayne. He needs to chill and stop with the mediocrity.
I think we're all mad it's not the fact he made a love song it's the fact out of all the female singers he chose her lol he could've picked Kiesha Cole they never do a bad song together
