Honestly, something is a bit fishy about this. I'm starting to think that this is, indeed a publicity stunt. I find it hard to believe that Birdman, (Wayne's dad), would do something like this to his son. Especially since they have maintained a great relationship for over 20+ years. Not to mention, this is Tha Carter 5! not just any ordinary album. I don't see why he wouldn't let him drop. All these years of loyalty and it's right out the window... Before Tha Carter 5. Something isn't right.

I can't ever see it being a marketing promo stunt, because the labels credibility would go down the toilet if it was... They wouldn't risk that... Surely not. Like Look how much hate the label & Baby is getting and how much love Wayne getting. They just wouldn't let it go down like that. It's not like some epic marketing stunt that people will praise them for...

I just want Wayne to go independent or sign with Jay tbh. I've never really liked Cash Money as a label, just Wayne and what he did + Drake & Nicki which are because of Wayne. I go where ever Wayne goes, but if it turns out to be a marketing thing which I 99.9% believe it isn't then I will lose some respect for Wayne for going along with this just to get hype. My worst fears would become reality and it would mean Wayne don't care about his fans straight up.

Especially with the buzz he's built right now anything he puts out would go platinum.
