Wayne should've did like Drake and Ross. They're signed to two different labels with different distribution companies. Drake is YM/CM as a solo artist but is also OVO/Warner, so if CM did him like Wayne he could always release it through OVO/Warner. If Wayne is able to take the label with him then he'll probably go Warner or Def Jam

Distributing OVO through Warner was a smart move by Drake. Wonder if Weezy could start a new label distributed through some other label than CM

the thing is, lil wayne's popularity and amount of people that like him are decreasing.
on the other hand, Young thug is becoming as a rookie the face of this generation's rap. His popularity went from a nobody to a well known rapper even in europe. There is a whole market opening for him now. and Bird is trying to get money from that. ANd he does well.
From lil waynes contract he gotta get his 150 million investing money back though. and right now it doesnt seem like hes gonna get it back with C5.

Wayne's singles ain't selling...therefore the album won't sell (we all knew if the album was released in dec 9, shit would hit 100k first week max lol)

He wanted to delay the album more so that they get more promo for it...maybe release a mixtape (hint the new project), maybe release a better single...

I get all of that, and I agree. But people stating these theories of Birdman not like Wayne's sound, or thinking that it's bad music is stupid.

Birdman let Wayne experiment with Rebirth, (started work on Rebirth 2), and both IANAHB's. If Baby didn't like his sound, he would've put a stop to it in 2010 when it started to change.

This beef between the two is personal. As close as they have been Wayne's whole career, something had to have went down.
