i’ve said it once before, and i’ll keep saying it. This album does not need that much promotion. Hundreds of thousands of people have been waiting for this album since 2014. it’s now 2018. The only promotion they need, is for a couple celebs & wayne to post the art work with a release date and that’s it. Everybody and their mommas know about this album, and once it drops everybody will talking about it. Once everybody starts saying “Tha Carter V was just released out of no where today!” that’s all the promo they need. It will be all over social media, all over music headlines and all over the charts. At this point, the album will promote itself. We don’t need any singles or anything cause it’s better to just get hit with the unexpected.

It would obviously sell and I don’t care about the promo.
The fact that it doesn’t need any promo doesn’t stop this promo of a bunch of random people tweeting about it from being the worst I’ve ever seen haha

it needs to have superstars on this like rihanna, beyonce, jay, em, etc
if they've kept christina milian on all them songs too imma go mad

If C5 is 35-40 songs like before I have no problem with YM artists being on it. Vice Versa had a good hook on Drowning and I’m sure Tha Carter 5 will have quality control. Haha

pretty sure the tentative track list showed only 31 songs. but yeah, with the deluxe edition, prolly get 2-3 more, and if there’s a bonus song for iTunes +1 and probably one for target since target always has their own bonus song. so yeah, that’s about right. i’m fine with a Vice Versa feature. their performance wasn’t bad at Lil’weezyana fest. You never know, it could also just be a 30 second hook that they’re featured on

So I just got done watching all of the Weezy Wednesdays and it had me thinking..... every project we have ever got from Wayne has had some sort of “roll out” in some shape or form... and because of that we can link every project to a specific time in our life.... that’s the reason some of us may fuck with Rebirth.. cause “That was my sophomore year that was a crazy year!!” Or Sorry For the Wait “I hooked up with this thicc ass chick while Rollin was playin!!”....


I know we all want C5 but will a surprise release really hit like his other releases?? Watching Weezy Wednesdays was nostalgic and took me back to my freshman year of college quick af.... All I’m sayin is at this point will it mean something? Cause 5 years is a long wait and rn the “wait” is the only thing hyping me up...

Im expecting 10-15 songs. If I remember correctly this whole two part thing was because he wanted to get out of the label and now that he is he doesn’t need to drop 2 anymore and that’s fine.
with all this waiting everyone has crazy expectations so 10-15 would be the perfect length.
Dont want any fillers on this. I don’t want no 30 track bullshit, c5 needs to be flawless.

Factssss. Eminems surprise album kamikaze first week sales just did almost double than his last album revival did, which was heavily promoted

I’m in for either way they wanna do it,, the weezy wed were fun as fuck and I enjoyed them too.. I’ve waited this long I wouldn’t mind a nice roll out with a few singles but I also want it like yesterday lol will we ever get side bitch? Didn’t see it on the track list
