Which is exactly why I got faith in the September 21st date. It's right at the start of Fall. Since this interview is a few weeks old I assume YM was still figuring out a date and just told Wayne to say Fall in the meantime but recently ended up settling on the 21st

So this makes me think either we get a single on the 21st or the album drops on waynes birthday ? Unless they wait till a october release date but for some reason i find that unlikely. I know it says the magazine will hit news stands in 2 days but for some reason I still have this feeling we will get this album this month, I mean septemeber is techinally fall so. I wonder how long ago that interview was done? A month ago? I think we eat this month Fam

I really hope we don’t get single for this album. The singles back in 2014 were cool, but man, if you put out another single for a 4 year old album, could potentially kill a lot of hype that people have if the single isn’t up to par with people’s expectations. Believe Me was a great single, but Grindin’ & Krazy were not really single worthy in my opinion. I hope that they throwaway Believe Me, Grindin & Krazy cause those are 4 years old and i’ve played them way too much. Honestly would skip over them if they were on the album. I think the best way to go into C5 would be just to release it. No singles, very little promotion, etc. Right now, the hype is through the roof and there’s not even a single or an official release date. Whatever Wayne’s management is doing right now, they’re doing it right. I just hope they don’t fuck it up

yeah, but I feel like they’ve already had they date figured out. back in June, wayne announced at a show he had a meeting that day about the release date of C5

100% agree! That billboard magazine hypes it up even more without a need of a single ! I do fear a single will kill the hype and might ruin the sales aspect. Best way is to just release this album and everyone will rush to check it out.

The media push coverage of c5, And new Swiss leak plus billboard interview over last 24 hours - people are expecting 21st and this would not be a surprise drop but tonight could be sharp marketing with physicals on the 21st. Plus I noticed 6lack dropped earlier today - maybe the got shook and needed a few hours run before c5. Thoughts ?

I think if we don't get anything by September 21 I think Wayne will do it on October 16th cause Bet airs the award there. He could win mixtape of the year or whatever it is and come out n say "Carter V out now or out on this day"
