Like Tha Carter series is really legendary
the stakes have been raised with each installment

and this whole Wayne Vs. Birdman
plus waiting 5 years for the album makes C5 like the Infinity War of albums lmaoo

It's like a time-capsule album. It was originally made in 2013-2014 but has been touched up and tweaked through the years to keep it as fresh as possible. Making it have a very distinct sound in 2018.

Inconsistent or not, d6r was one of his best mixtapes to date— I think carter 5 will meet everyone’s expectations— but no matter what there will be people trashing it, just how it goes

Just gotta believe what you want until we know for sure. It would make sense, I know a couple of other albums that are dropping that day and surprise releases are the thing nowadays.

My guess is that on the 21st we are getting the tracklist and on the 28th we'll get the album.
