Amazing album. Didnt lose interest. I get that the casual fan may find it to be “too long” but to Wayne fans this is perfect. ITS BEEN 7 FUCKIN YEARS since the last Carter dropped fuck yall talkin bout “too long”. And theres tracks we know are missing (im thinking we get more at the top of 2019).
Personally im surprised how ON SUBJECT Wayne stayed on the majority of the album. Im diggin all the love on social media too. The production on this was A1 as well.
My ONLY GRIPE on this is the lack of Drake. There were a few songs he could have been an amazing addition to. IMO Used 2 would have been perfect especially given his recent beefs.
Off one listen this is miles better than C4 (which i listened to earlier and personally think got unjustly trashed when it dropped, its solid AF) and might even be a solid contender for top 3 Carters, its early but it has potential.
On repeat (streaming) for the next few days if not longer.
