All I’m saying is that a rebirth 2 with the now mature Wayne could be fire. Rebirth was already kinda introspective. Most people just are turned off by the sound and think it’s corny. If they were more slowed down rock beats like some Xxxtentacion type rock beats then Jesus that would be a whole different beast.

Rebirth was a prototype for the new generation. It was to ahead of its time. I loved it but nah rebirth 2 would still not get any love from most people. Plus he’s matured a lot don’t know if he’s still into the rock and roll faze. I’m just happy I got CV just need that deluxe edition now with all those OG track list songs

Y'all seem to forget they changed how streams count towards Album sales. Basically they made it so that streams from non paying users, having only the free version of a streaming service, count less compared to paying users.
Long story short this means album sales calculated using the new system are smaller. Drake was one of the first to be affected by this which is why Scorpion sold significantly less than Views.
However Post numbers where calculated using the old formula and he did 492k.
Now, If anyone thinks selling 500k is anything but a huge achievement for Wayne, they doesn't understand The current industry Climate.
500k is, in fact, huge and I hope predictions aren't too far off.

First post here in a while - hope all is good with everyone!

Three full listens of the album and it’s definitely a solid effort in my opinion. Fave track so far - can’t be broken.
Feels much more mature and diverse. Lyrics are point, some clever features ( Post feature would have sent the internet crazy though!) love the little touches with his daughter and mother on there.
It’s amazing to see the numbers it’s doing. Huge respect to Wayne for being able to stay relevant for so long.
