at a bar right now and they’re playing “John” off C4, and I hear some kids saying “they’re playing all this old Lil Wayne tonight because I guess Tha Carter V is popping right now. i’m hearing that people love that album” and I started talking to him about it

Didn’t feel Dark Side of The Moon all that much first listen but it’s growing on me quite a bit. May very well be the first Wayne album that I genuinely enjoy every single song.. there always seems to be at least one that I don’t feel at all.
Top 5 at the moment (subject to change)
Demon
Open Letter
Let It All Work Out
Cant Be Broken
Hittas

As long as you understand that they're in two completely different points in their lives, that's fine. But they shouldn't be compared that way. Wayne been rich and living this way for a loooong time, so he can't really do what he used to anymore. He's too far removed from it. He done talked his street already. Now it's really down to gettin to know him and how he ticks because we don't know much about him as he's such an introvert.
Idk, that intrigues a nigga like me. Like yeah nigga, we see you dog these hoes and talk yo shit but how do you REALLY feel about the women in your life? We see you drippin and flexin ya shit, but what toll does this fame shit REALLY take on you? What do you REALLY think about what's goin on around you NOW, and not when you ain't have shit?
That's partly why I think this might be one of his better projects. It really shows maturity...
Idk. Enjoy tho, bruh.
Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.
