It wasn't either of your assumptions. It was Swizz idea to reworked on "Special Delivery" beat so he made the beat sent it to Wayne and Wayne did the song in that same night. Wayne doesn't even remember he rapped on that beat before so it was new to him.

I think it he trimmed off a few songs and saved some FWA songs it could've been an extremely cohesive & personal concept album. Not complaining, just thinking about the possibilities.

My favorites seem to be the ones people keep suggesting he should have left off or replace... I think this album flawless the way it is. Everyone loves different songs.
