I still see lots people saying how they love the album etc etc. People at the recent shows still seem to enjoy the C5 songs. People are still being interviewed about it, people who didn't even have anything to do with it.
I never 'talk' about it except on here or in private conversations irl but still listen every day. How are you able to tell what people are listening to/talking about?

When I say ppl aren’t listening to it, that means the MASSES. Of course he has US/Core fans
Every single artist in the world does. But once the masses stops talking bout it it’s over...... from the masses I don’t see C5 in any top 5 album of the year discussions, I don’t see any songs from it considered in song or record of the year topics....... Of course if I go to a Wayne concert or a Wayne blog/forum that conversation will be different. Only song on radio that’s being played or heavily streamed is Uproar. The love and support is great on here but I’m not really seeing it anywhere else

But once the masses stops talking bout it it’s over...... from the masses I don’t see C5 in any top 5 album of the year discussions, I don’t see any songs from it considered in song or record of the year topics....... In this social media age nothing occupies the attention of the masses for any prolonged period. What album is still trending on twitter 3-4 months after it dropped? There's nothing to be talking about after everyone has reacted to it. I don't know where you're seeing these discussions which the masses are having about top five albums. I've seen no polls or statistics. Majority of people don't talk about what they're listening to. Vast majority of die hard Wayne fans aren't on this forum. I just don't think there's a way for any of us to tell what 'most people' feel about it other than the fact that it was one of the biggest and most talked about (by the media) albums of the year.

That's just how it goes, casual listeners listen to whatever the latest thing that has dropped was and talk about it on social media until everyone starts talking about something else, maybe carry on listening to the songs they like. The core fan base will carry on talking about it and discussing it like we do. Point is Wayne has a much bigger core fan base than most other artists and I've seen more people than ever saying that this 'comeback' has made them realise how important Wayne is to music when they were never fans before.

eh in this social media era that risen and how instant everything comes and goes that's been every album except really astroworld (which i think is wayyyy overrated but thats another point). No one talks about kanyes album anymore, or pushas album, scorpion, jay rock, cole's.

Doesn't mean the albums were a letdown or bad, its just this era is so instant gratification and instantly onto the next thing, nothing sticks around long anymore
