  • The moment Lil Wayne got the idea he was going to name his mixtape "Dedication".

Hello fam, I would like to share a thought of mine that may be thread worthy. I was watching some old Lil Wayne videos on YouTube while I happened to run across an old interview of his. I've seen it before, so it's not rare. That is not my point for this thread. My point is that during this interview if you skip to 4:07, you can listen to Lil Wayne speak on how he "just got drafted in the game" and that he has to play his hardest. The interviewer then responds by saying she likes that and how "that's Dedication right there". After she says that, look at Lil Wayne's face expression at 4:14. That is the moment Lil Wayne got the idea he was going to name his mixtape "Dedication". At least that's what I think.

Please feel free to comment or express your opinions on my thought. Do you agree or disagree?

Thank You for sharing your valuable time with me to read and share a thought of mine.

    P.S. Kendrick Lamar Can't Spit A Bar. C5 > GKMC.

"Girl, I'm Kendrick Lamar AKA I Can't Spit A Bar!"

well guys i have a simpler explanation IMGenuisO, in old interviews before the wireless earbuds, when an interview is over someone next to the camera man gives a cut sign to let the anchor know, weezy was just satring at him. or maybe they had to rerecord that scene and he made a sign that it was good cuz you can tell that the mounting was edited by that little deleted scene prior to the dedication sentence.
