They promoted IANAHB2 with radio singles, features, a mixtape and performances (exactly how they did for C4). IANAHB1 dropped while he was locked up and only had one real single, while the other was already released. He needs a single for it to sell 500k+
People either see that Wayne fell off and stopped listening to him or they are just another hater, the only ones left are Wayne stans and people who don't know or never cared for Wayne. which is why he gotta have a good single if he wanna do 500k+.
And a lot of ya'll seem to keep forgetting that C4 was a comeback album from Rebirth and being locked up for 8 months. His last real album was C3 which dropped in 08 and niggas wanted hear him rap and make a great album again. That's 3 years without a real Wayne album for niggas who don't keep up with Wayne daily like Wayne stans do. C4 dropped and a lot of niggas didn't like it, we gotta be real with this bruh. Niggas not checking for Wayne like back then.

AND: its obvously the carter albums sell much better than the others, lfls sold not even 200k first week, same with rebirth, and the fact that he was in jail was a promotion factor for ianahb, people talked more bout him tbh. i agree it probably will sell less thn C4 did but i'm pretty sure it will still sell 700k+. and, the last features had pretty good feedback, didn't see a real bad one on it what shows he's still there. and its the last of the legendary carter albums and maybe the last wayne solo album, thats also a reason why it will sell more. oh and you can't compare the singles she will, how to love and 6`7 to the ianahb2 singles no worries and my homies still.
Also, Tha Carter series isn't legendary. C1 was above average, but not great in the mainstream. C2 was great, but just okay in the mainstream. C3 was okay and great in the mainstream. C4 was below average and great in the mainstream. Good series, no where near legendary though.

IANAHB was under the radar because of the promo, my brother was a bigger Wayne fan than me and he didn't know it came out until C4 was already out. I can compare C4's singles to IANAHB2's singles since a hit is a hit and you forgot about Love Me. 700k+ without a hit single is a stretch.

C3 had Lollipop, which of course was a huge hit and the main reason Tha Carter series is so successful since C3 sold extremely well then C4 sold but basically came to a stop once it reached 2x platinum. Tha Carter & Tha Carter II didn't sell nowhere near as well as C3 did. And C4 only sold because everyone was ready for the next real album from Wayne after his last real album (C3) was so successful. Good series, but legendary is a stretch.
