It was definitely recorded for Nothing Was The Same imo. We know Weezy was supposed to be on it but finally was not (probably because it doesn't fit the album) and got mad because of that. Drake has two verses and the hook, Weezy had originally one verse but then added another one later when Drake gave him the song, and they changed a few things.

Surprised that it didn't make NWTS if it was actually meant for NWTS. My guess is that Wayne loved the song and wanted it for C5 so he asked Drake and Drake was cool with it
