Meh. Lyrics are okay, but I don't give a fuck about lyrics and I never had.

Beat is awful, hook is awful. Song has 0 replay value. I really hope it ain't on C5, because it's not kind of song I want there.

I will say this tho, after first verse..when he did second verse and that lil outro verse, his flow was crazy good.. Only thing I liked about this song tbh.

I listen to classical music, there ain't no words in that, but it's best music ever.
I listen to instrumentals, no words, still the shit.

I'm not saying I don't like lyrical songs, I love all Wayne lyrical songs, they are one of the best.. But for me, lyrics is not everything that makes song.

And I hate people like you that like everything as long as it has good lyrics in it. A nigga could rapped over fart sounding beat and rap some crazy poet and yall would love it even tho the beat sounds like farts.

For a song to be good, it needs to have little of everything.. And this only has lyrics. Not good enough.

I listen to lot of genres not only hiphop. And I listen to hiphop mostly because of awesome beats and intrumentals.. I also like good lyrics, but it's not what does it for me. Simple as that.

If I want lyrics, I'll read a book, or listen to old school rappers. (or old school wayne)

because it's like watching an athlete who was once great, now sucks... but is showing signs of hunger again. u wanna watch to see what happens! to see if he can reclaim his title! it's exciting and i'm rooting for him.

not to mention, he drops verses like cream, you song, believe me, think i'm lying (and to a slightly lesser extent, d'usse) - so we think this niggas back! get all hyped all over again......... and then he drops some shit like krazy. and it's like smh what is happening here? he's still capable of doing great work obviously - it's the beats that dictate how good his rhyming is gonna be. when he gets one of these modern trap beats it's almost like he doesn't know what to do with it, so he gets all fast and annoying and tries to cram all the words in... but his wordplay needs space to breathe. he needs those extra 1 or two measures per bar to make the punchlines land properly. i never used to have to pull up the lyrics to catch every word... we used to be able to hear wtf he was saying clearly.

give him an old school beat like cream or you song and he kills it. case closed.

he's out of his comfort zone with 2014 production and that's the fucking problem. i would bet any amount of money, if he did a full mixtape or album of midtempo classic hip hop beats, DD3 wayne would come back. not a doubt in my mind. if not dd3 wayne, then at least NC wayne.

a milli is amazing. just cos it was overhyped don't mean it's shitty. this song can't hold a candle to a milli. 6'7 is a classic too, but not as good. a milli is the blueprint of what a good wayne song is. it's a classic

Sorry if you can't take the truth. i'm talking reality here. these lyrics are not dope by any stretch of the imagination. and i'm not taking the whole "times change, his style changed" excuse. nigga needs to hold himself to a higher standard. he THINKS he's killing the beat, but he's not. there were a couple of mildly amusing punchlines, but that's all. the rest sounds like that annoying ianahb2 flow he's been dragging around for the last year (or more) and i'm getting sick of it. believe me sounded like a step in the right direction, d'usse was at least passionate and kind of clever in parts, but this sucks.

he sounds like a hopped up teenager screaming things. it's fucking annoying. he used to sound chill and cool, like a goddamn pimp. now he sounds like a ho. i hate when people say "he's not rapping about pussy anymore so it must be good" NO WAY!
