Everything else sounds like either the subject matter would be stupid/meaningless (basically mixtape shit), a non noteworthy banger or just some stuff that i wouldn't like based on the name and/or features.

It's about his time in jail... Since the book will never happen, it would be dope if a song was titled that and it was one of the songs he wrote in jail. That's a Carter type song.

Off-Topic: Wish he would have more positive subject matter and better beat selection over anything tbh. It feels like jail just fucked him up creatively. (I believe drugs just take away from you instead of help so i'm not one of those people who say he was better on syrup)

Devol was supposed to be nothing but songs he wrote in jail.

& thats hard to argue, cause when your on a drug like that, your imagination and creativity is way different than a sober state of mind. the mind frame he was in while on syrup definitely influenced the type of music he made in that time period.

but no way would I want somebody to put their life at risk on drugs just because I think it makes his music "better"

I know me & Wayne are 2 completely different people but i use to smoke almost every day and was to addicted prometh & nyquil cough syrup but it didn't help me with my drawings, my written raps nor freestyles. Matter of fact, it made em worse and all i wanted to do was eat and go to sleep, turned very lazy.
