yeah playing shows every night is probably affecting his voice too, big time. i think the smoking is the main culprit though, because there's definitely been a slight uptick in his lyrics and flow too, which seems to go hand in hand with the weed. i hope he sounds like this on c5 too... i'm so worried c5 is gonna be full of crap like krazy and moment (i know most of yall like that one, but i think it's IANAHB2-like - i'm not a big fan of trap weezy). i hope hope hope that c5 is a massive, amazing beast of an album where wayne absolutely SNAPS on every track and gets on some mannie fresh style beats and some old school shit. that's where he does best... that is his comfort zone.
but the way it will actually play out, i'm afraid, is:
wayne recorded c5 before he was back heavy on the weed and before his voice sounded dope. so the songs are prob all high pitched (voice) and twitchy (flow) and corny (lyrics). and believe me, if there is any good shit in the mix, tez will prob cut it from c5. i wish they would leave it up to the fans... let us decide what should make up c5. some recording artists have actually done that. d'usse was great - different, but good different. believe me was pretty great IMO, but way too much drake. grindin is actually very good, but they went and cut the best verse in the video - i hope it's restored on the album (prob will be cuz the single on itunes is full length). krazy was just UGHHHHHHHHHHHH.... couldn't stand it.
