You don't have to believe me, but I was in on that call. This shit is happening fam.
This is some of the context that was said during the call that I listened to:
"Do you have CV?"
"Tuesday"
"Do you have it in the back or so?"
"Can't get that info out"
He's still calling targets to see if they have it: brainfeederz - Tinychat
inb4 hate I get for going on kttOriginally posted by Young Money Soldier View Postsuper hard to believe that this is supposed to release on Tuesday with little promotion and the album hasn't leaked two days ahead
if it really is being released on Tuesday it must have very little hype if no one leaks that shit
i guess us in the West coast will find out if it is out on iTunes by Monday night at 9pm (12am in East Coast)

3 is my favorite, looking back on it. I used to think C1 and C2 were my favorites, but C3 is so much more broad.
It's hard to explain. He definitely spit harder on C1 and C2, but there's something about C3 musically that makes it easier to enjoy. It's more fun. More relatable. Prolly because he sold out on it.
He tried to recapture that with C4 and failed miserably, however.
He showcased skill lyrically on C1 and C2, but he had more concepts and things like that on C3.
Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

singles didn't get too far on the charts
not many videos, the ones that did werent that good or even for the best songs
he hasnt done this little amount of features since 2005
he's done at least double of what he has done every year since
up to 9xs as much

Carter III, purely because it was Wayne at his unhinged best. Carter I was like his coming of age, when he started rapping with that growl on Walk In, that Weeze, that began a period in hip hop that no one has ever matched or bettered. Carter I was a young G making his first steps towards OG status in the game, he came through with swagger and confidence that was impossible to deny.
Carter II was all heaters. Best Rapper Alive.. That track was insanity. But I think Carter III, he just let his creative side run wild. It was Wayne at his best, he held his own with Hov, he went ballistic on A Milli, he showed he could write concept records like Mrs Offic, Let The Beat Build and Dr Carter, and he created music that had never been seen before, like Lollipop and Phone Home. The only thing that hurts on that record is Fab killed both him and Juelz on You Ain't Got Nuthin, but that track was such a banger it didn't matter.
